Refund & Returns Policy
1. Right of Withdrawal (Consumer Purchases in the EU)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods.
We voluntarily extend this period to 30 days from delivery, but any legal rights you have under EU law remain unaffected.
2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Kiri Nawa Kai APS, Via Bruno Cesana 10, 20132 Milano – Italy, info@yugenstudio.it) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. letter sent by post, or email). You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but it is not obligatory.
You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal.
3. Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (if any) — but excluding any supplementary costs if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer.
Reimbursement will be made within 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods or proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for the reimbursement.
4. Return Shipping Costs
You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. These costs are non-refundable.
5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Perishable goods such as food or flowers.
- Newspapers, magazines, or periodicals (except in the case of subscription contracts or defective items).
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
- Custom-made or personalised items.
- Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. downloads), if the performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
6. Faulty or Defective Goods – Legal Warranty
In addition to the right of withdrawal, as a consumer you have a 2-year legal warranty of conformity under EU law (and Italian law for Italy-based customers). This warranty covers any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery.
If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you are entitled to request repair, replacement, or — if these are not possible — a refund.
Please note: while manufacturers may offer their own commercial warranties, these are in addition to your legal rights against us as the seller. Your legal warranty is always provided by the seller of the goods — in this case, Kiri Nawa Kai APS.
7. Delivery Problems
If your parcel is undelivered, we offer a full refund.
If you fail to collect your products from a pick-up point within 6 weeks after notification, we may collect it back and issue a full refund automatically (you will not be able to collect your items later).
If you chose an untracked shipping method and then request a refund due to non-delivery, we will issue a full refund, but you will not be able to select untracked shipping for future orders.
